Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 26 February 2026
1. Our Commitment
At MokaCigar we believe that luxury should be inclusive. We are working to ensure that our website is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all visitors, regardless of ability or the technology they use.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
2. Measures We Are Taking
- Colour contrast: ensuring sufficient contrast ratios between text and background colours throughout the site.
- Descriptive alt text: providing meaningful alternative text for all product and editorial images.
- Keyboard accessibility: ensuring all interactive elements can be accessed and operated via keyboard alone.
- Semantic HTML: using proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA attributes for assistive technologies.
- Screen-reader testing: regularly testing the site with popular screen readers including NVDA and VoiceOver.
- Structured tasting notes: presenting product tasting profiles in a clear, structured format that is accessible to all users.
3. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of the site may not yet be fully accessible:
- Some legacy product images may lack descriptive alt text. We are working to address this on an ongoing basis.
- Third-party embedded content, such as payment processing widgets, may not meet the same accessibility standards. We work with our providers to encourage improvements.
4. Feedback & Support
If you encounter any accessibility barriers or would like information in an alternative format, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
We will endeavour to respond to accessibility enquiries within 5 business days.
5. Enforcement
