About Romeo y Julieta Factory

The Romeo y Julieta Factory produces one of Cuba's most beloved and widely distributed cigar brands. The factory maintains the elegant, balanced blending traditions that have made Romeo y Julieta a favourite of smokers worldwide, from Winston Churchill to modern connoisseurs.

History

Founded in 1875 by Inocencio Alvarez and Manin Garcia, the factory was dedicated to producing the romantic Romeo y Julieta brand.

Under Don "Pepin" Rodríguez from 1903 onwards, the factory expanded production and the brand became a global icon.

The factory continues to produce medium-bodied, elegant cigars that honour the brand's near-150-year heritage.
